Indian Wells, California  - Andy Murray bids for his third title of the season after setting up a final with world number 1 Rafael Nadal at the Indian Wells Masters on Saturday.

Murray stunned error-prone second seed Roger Federer 6-3, 4-6, 6- 1, marking his fourth consecutive victory over the former dominator of the sport since losing to the Swiss in the US Open final six months ago.

Indian Wells, California  - Roger Federer suffered a fourth straight humiliation at the hands of Andy Murray on Saturday with the Scot running away with the third set to reach the final of the Indian Wells Masters 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

Federer has not beaten world number 3 Murray since the US Open final six months ago. In the interim, the Scot has won showdowns at Madrid, Shanghai, Doha and now in the Californian desert.

Murray will await the winner from 2007 champion Rafael Nadal and American Andy Roddick, who leads the ATP with victories this season on 23.

Washington  - At least 5,000 residents were evacuated in eastern Pennsylvania after a truck carrying 33,000 pounds of toxic hydrofluoric acid overturned early Saturday.

Driver Raymond Leblanc, 54, of Ontario, Canada, lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a deer. He was initially trapped in the truck, but was rescued unhurt. Another passenger was also removed from the site and no other injuries were reported, police said.

Most of the acid was in the form of pressurized gas, police told broadcaster CNN and the leak was plugged eight and a half hours after the trailer overturned near Wind Gap, Pennsylvania.

Washington  - US President Barack Obama on Saturday welcomed France's decision to return to NATO's military command after a 43- year absence, saying France's "full participation ... will contribute to a stronger alliance and a stronger Europe."

"I enthusiastically welcome the decision made by French President Nicolas Sarkozy to fully reintegrate France into the NATO alliance," Obama said in a statement.

Tehran  - Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday rejected an offer by US President Barack Obama to open a new era in relations until Tehran could see real changes in US policies.

"The Iranian nation can neither be tricked [by the messages] nor threatened. The changes claimed by the US should be real and not just in rhetoric," Khamenei said.
