Melbourne, Mar 19 : Aussie tennis player Mark Philippoussis' ex-girlfriend, model Siobhan Parekh, is feeling happy and positive two months after their break-up.

Parekh has relocated to Sydney after ending her 11-month relationship with Philippoussis, who is alleged to have cheated on her, and she has moved into a Bondi apartment.

"I believe every ending is a new beginning," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling Confidential.

Madrid  - Barcelona intend to maintain their six-point lead over historic rivals Real Madrid on Sunday, by beating ambitious Malaga at home.

Easier said than done, really. Malaga are the surprise package of the Spanish season, in sixth place and dreaming of Europe.

Veteran Malaga striker Salva - who helped Valencia win the title in 2001 - said on Wednesday that "no game is impossible... we must be valiant, and make as few mistakes as possible."

Lahore, Mar. 19: Pakistani umpire Ahsan Raza, who was severely injured during the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team, is keen to return to the cricket field as soon as possible.

Raza, while talking to reporters in hospital said he is not deterred by the incident and looking forward to get back on the field to continue his career.

He had undergone two surgeries to repair a collapsed right lung and a damaged liver after being hit by bullets during the terror attack.

London, Mar 19 : Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez has finally ended his contract saga by signing a new 20million pound deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2014.

"My heart is with Liverpool Football Club, so I''m delighted to sign. I love the club, the fans and the city and with a club like this and supporters like this, I could never say no to staying," The Sun quoted Benitez, as saying.

Rheda, Germany - Schalke 04 are in talks with former Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Oliver Kahn about the post of general manager at the club, supervisory board chairman Clemens Toennies confirmed to Germany's WDR radio station Thursday.

Former general manager Andreas Mueller and Schalke parted company last week as a result of poor results this season, but Dutch coach Fred Rutten has stayed on.
