Simpson was among those out with Symonds at swish bar Watt in New Farm when they were asked to leave the premises at around 9 p. m.

Newspaper reports suggested that Symonds was "loud" and "boisterous" and had smashed a glass before getting the tap on the shoulder from bar staff.

Qadir pointed out that Shoaib recently gave a good showing in a one-day game, which he said was a good sign.

Pak to name ODI squad for Oz series after April 1Karachi, Mar 24 : Pakistan is likely to name its 15-man squad for the one-day series against Australia after the conclusion of the National One-day Championship on April 1.

Coach Intikhab Alam said that after mutual consent it has been more or less decided that the selectors will wait till the end of the domestic one-day tournament before naming the squad for the ODI series to be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from April 22-May 7.

Pakistan will play five One-day Internationals and a Twenty20 game against Australia, The Dawn reported.

In a statement the club said that the two parties had agreed to part ways with "a gentleman's agreement."

However, Michel's axing had been widely expected after the club had lost a league match against city rivals SuperSport 4-1 last week and then been knocked out of the cup on the weekend.
