Mohammad AsifLahore, Feb. 11 : Banned Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif may have something to cheer as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hinted that he may regain his spot in the national squad after completion of the penalty imposed by the Indian Premier League (IPL).

"Mohammad Asif may regain his place in the Pakistan cricket team after his one-year ban ends while he may also be included in central contract," The News quoted, PCB chief Ijaz Butt, as saying.

Hiddink says he expects to be Chelsea coach, Dutch radio says

Guus HiddinkLondon - Guus Hiddink says he expects to be the new coach at English Premier League club Chelsea next week, Dutch radio reported on Wednesday.

The Dutchman, who will continue in his role as Russia coach, told Radio 538: "One of these days I will go to London. I expect to be there on the field next week.

Hiddink has a contract as Russia coach until the end of the 2010 World Cup, but is set to combine the roles at least until the end of the season.

He will fill the void created by the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari on Monday, who lost his job after seven months in charge.

International Cricket Council (ICC) LogoDubai, Feb. 11 : Shortly after the Indian Premier League (IPL) slapped a year long ban on Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif , the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday said that it would not tolerate doping scandals in the sport.

ICC's Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said the apex international cricket body maintains a zero tolerance on doping.

The ICC also confirmed that it had received notification about Asif's ban from IPL, and it expects other members of the Council to respect it.
