Madrid  - Spanish champions Real Madrid have officially denied that club president Ramon Calderon was engaged in vote-rigging at the club's annual general assembly on 7 December.

Sports daily Marca alleged on Tuesday that Calderon had "stolen the assembly", by sneaking in several fans not qualified to be delegates.

Marca claims that Calderon's proposed club budget only passed because of the votes of these fans, who have not been club members long enough to be delegates - or were not even club members at all.

In ICC events, participating teams are expected to submit their provisional squads 60 days prior to the start of the tournament while the teams are expected to name their final 15-player squads 30 days before the first match.

Karachi, Jan. 13: While the forthcoming tour of Pakistan by Sri Lanka provides Pakistan with a much needed chance to play a Test match on home soil for the first time in an year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants to convince the world cricket community, that it is safe to play in Pakistan.

According to a PCB official, the board is planning to send invitations to top International Cricket Council (ICC) officials to come and see the security arrangements being offered to visiting the cricketers and officials during the Sri Lankan tour of Pakistan.
