Miley Cyrus to star in new Disney film

Washington, Sept 17 : Teen sensation Miley Cyrus will be starring in a new Disney film, which will be an untitled adaptation of a novel by author Nicholas Sparks, written specially for the ‘Hannah Montana’ star.

Sparks is working on an untitled novel and at the same time writing the screenplay adaptation for the film.

Disney-based Offspring Entertainment partners Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot will produce the new film and Tish Cyrus will be exec producer.

The idea for the film, according to Gibgot, came when Disney exec Jason Reed met the actress, and she mentioned "A Walk to Remember" as an example of what she hoped for.

New Delhi, Sept 17 : Actress Meg Ryan has revealed that she had initially thought of naming her now three-and-a-half-year-old daughter ‘Daisy’ as ‘Oprah Winfrey Ryan’.

‘The Women’ star had adopted her daughter Daisy True from China in 2003 said that she was initially convinced that celebrities should just name their babies after celebrities, but later ruled it out, reports China Daily
