Hijack is based on the stale theme of a hero saving a hijacked plane from terrorists. There is nothing worthwhile in story except a few stunts by Shiney Ahuja. The story starts with bearded, belligerent jehadis hijacking a plane then demanding release of their saathi along with a safe passage to Dubai in lieu of sparing the lives of passengers in hijacked plane. Shiney Ahuja, hero of the movie saves the plane and deflate the plans of hijackers. Esha Deol plays the role of an airhostess of the hijacked plane.

Tahaan, directed by Santosh Sivan is a heart warming tale of a young boy named Tahaan and his faithful friend, a donkey, named Birbal. The movie truly depicts the environment of rural Kashmir, where shooting bullets and dead bodies are a routine.

One specific scene which will truly touch your heart is, when Tahaan goes out to the search Birbal and encounters a group of children playing “Chor-Police”. Half of them are militants and rest half the army. This scene truly depicts the irony, horror and unending tragedy of the paradise lost-Kashmir.

It’s official now. The forthcoming mega project flick of South Indian superstar Rajnikanth Robot has been renamed as Enthiram.
