Mangalore/New Delhi, Jan. 29 A local court in Mangalore on Thursday sent the Sri Ram Sena's chief Pramod Muthalik to one-day judicial custody while reserving its decision till Friday over his bail plea in the pub attack case that occurred on January 24.
Muthalik was brought to Mangalore on Thursday afternoon. Though he was arrested in Davanagere on Wednesday but soon after a court granted him bail in another case.
Meanwhile, a team of Maharashtra ATS headed by a senior officer was scheduled to leave for the Mangalore later on Thursday to question him in connection with the Malegaon blast case.

Rana's sister happens to be BJP President Rajnath Singh's daughter-in-law.
New Delhi, Jan 29, : The Cabinet has approved a proposal for an Agreement between India and the United Nation's Environment Programme (UNEP) for capacity building in the field of protection and conservation of environment.
The agreement will provide a framework of cooperation in capacity building, training and spreading awareness on environmental issues.
The Agreement will be signed and implemented through the National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics (NACEN) under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
New Delhi, Jan 29 : The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has revised the minimum support price for Rabi crops.
Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Thursday afternoon, an official spokesman declared that the Minimum Support Price of wheat has been fixed at 1,080 rupees per quintal, marking an increase of 80 rupee. The Minimum Support Price of barley has been raised by 35 rupees per quintal to 680 rupees per quintal.
Similarly, the price of gram has increased to 130 rupees at 1,730 rupees per quintal.
New Delhi, Jan 29, : Cabinet has given its approval to some modifications in the Centrally sponsored Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY) scheme to improve the delivery and systems to the poor.
The SJSRY is being implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, on an all India basis, through States and UT Governments, since December 1, 1997.
This programme seeks to improve the livelihood of the urban population that lives below the poverty line by promoting gainful employment.
