Ten killed as small plane crashes in Utah Washington  - A pilot and nine passengers on a twin-engine plane died after it crashed and burned in the state of Utah, news reports said Saturday.

The plane crashed Friday evening after taking off from Canyonlands Field airport near the town of Moab, the Salt Lake Tribune reported. The nine passengers were medical staff from various dermatology clinics in the state.

The cause of the crash was unknown. The plane was a twin-engine Beechcraft King Air A-100. (dpa)
