Singh reported, “We came here to collect maximum points as this is one of our away matches. Collecting four points from two away matches is a satisfying result.”

In their next match on 11th October, JCT will take on Mohammedan Sporting at home.

In the opening encounter, Vasco had lost to Sporting Clube de Goa and in this match; they could not create much impact in spite of putting their three foreigners for fielding for the first time, since they failed to click as a team. To add more, many mistakes were made by Vasco midfielders, which allowed their rivals to probe more often. The Man of the Match was JCT defender Julius Akpela.
