Wikileaks’ researcher questioned

Wikileaks’ researcher questioned Wikileaks, a website that gives out documents stating the government and corporate misconduct, has been gearing revs in news soon after it produced documents about the war held in Afghanistan.

The website founder, Julian Assange, has been blamed of having blood on his hands as a consequence of the leak, and at the same time one of the security panel member was held in custody and was bombarded with interrogation for three hours, last week.

The researcher who was detained in the retrospection was, Jacob Appelbaum, a US based citizen, and was stopped at the Newark, New Jersey, airport, when he ventured inside the country to attend a hacker conference. He was asked for the whereabouts of Wikileaks and at the same time was questioned for Mr Assange.

Assange however refuses to state that US informants were harmed after the so-called Afghan War Diary was released. The documents speak of unregistered civilian deaths and claim that Taliban has gained support from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency.
