Wills kept RAF chiefs in the ‘dark’ to attend stag party

Prince WilliamLondon, November 10 : Prince Williams, a serving officer in the British Army, had apparently kept his Chinook helicopter instructors in the dark about his “private” flight to a stag party.

Though only the crew is said to have known about Wills going to the ‘private function’, the RAF officers were left uninformed about the personal nature of his Isle of Wight trip in April.

The 26-year-old’s sortie, which had picked younger brother Harry on its way, cost taxpayers 8,716 pounds while the royals were allegedly attending their cousin Peter Phillips’ stag party.

According to the documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, senior officers would have cancelled the flight had they known it was being used by the prince for a private function.

“Prince William accepts his share of responsibility,” the Sun quoted a Clarence House spokesman as saying. (ANI)
