According to authorities, a New York City woman, Liana Barrientos, married ten times with ten foreign-born husbands in 11 years. The surprising thing was that Barrientos did not divorce any of them. Now, the woman has been sent into prison as the serial bride pleaded not guilty to felony charges in an alleged immigration scam on Friday.

According to the New York Times, the 39-year-old Barrientos had submitted for a marriage license in 2010 to Salle Keita, man from Bronx. At that time, she said that that she experienced hardly ever been married prior to. As per condition data, Barrientos' claims were false. She had married nine unique males throughout New York State concerning 1999 and 2002, as per the data.

The condition data also stated that Barrientos did not divorce any of them. According to reports, seven of her spouses filed for green cards to become permanent United States residents within weeks of the marriage. While talking to the Times, the Bronx district attorney's business stated that the Section of Homeland Protection is also concerned in the case.

Things went against Barrientos when she was busted for fare-beating with a relative after leaving the arraignment and entering a platform at the 149th St. subway station. On Friday, Barrientos was scheduled to be accused on felony fraud costs for lying on a relationship license application in 2010.

New York Moments found a Facebook account that belonged to Barrientos. According to that account, Barrientos got engaged in July 2013. A person, who answered the doorway at an apartment where Barrientos formerly lived, said, "Barrientos moved into a homeless shelter a couple months ago".

According to the reports, Barrientos was living with her 11th husband in the Bronx until her February arrest.
