108 would-be migrants arrive in SpainMadrid  - Seven boats carrying 108 would-be migrants including several children were intercepted by Spanish coastguards off the southern coast in the Almeria area, police said Saturday.

They said the would-be migrants were beliveed to have come from Morocco, and were all in good condition. They were taken to reception camps.

Recent months have seen fewer such migrants arriving in Spain, with authorities there putting this down to people becoming increasingly aware of the lack of jobs during the economic crisis. (dpa)
