Adobe launches Creative Suite 6Adobe, the maker of the widely used Flash player, has announced the launch of its new Creative Suite 6, a software package created for designers and Web developers.

The company is offering the new Creative Suite 6 on a monthly subscription basis as part of its Creative Cloud offering instead of a usual box packing. The monthly subscription for the new suit starts at $50 for users who agree to buy access to the suit for a year.

For CS3, CS4, and CS5. x customers, the company is offering an introductory offer of $30 per month. The subscription also includes an 20GB online file sync service, Lightroom for photo editing and cataloging, Adobe's new Edge and Muse tools for designing Web pages in the HTML5 era, the Touch apps for tablets, Web site hosting, and a tablet publishing service.

The available of the suit on a monthly subscription is likely to attract customers who were not prepared to shell out thousands of dollars for the new version at once. The company is launching the suit, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator and other programs created for designers and Web developers, at an event in San Francisco.
