Air India strike to its second day
The state run airline of India, Air India has been forced to cancel its flights as the strike of the AI pilots and engineers has its second day today. It has cancelled its 76 international and domestic flights today on the employee's second day of strike.
The strike has begun after one day of the crash of the Boeing 737 flight of Air India Express at Mangalore airport. Around 158 people had lost their lives in that tragic incident. But now around 20,000 employees of Air India have gone for a strike due to fresh issues with the management.

The canceled flights include flights from Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi and international flights from or to Katmandu, Dubai, Bangkok and Singapore as well. In a press conference the Air India spokesman Mr. K Swaminathan has informed that this strike is restricted to a section of ground workers where as the leader of a crew member has said that the strike was very poorly timed.
