Only presence of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif saves Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani from becoming disaster, otherwise there is nothing in the story that could hold interest of audience.

The movie has a few good scenes, but most of the movie stagnates. The story doesn’t offer much scope to actors to show their acting talents. On the whole, it’s just a time-pass masala movie.  

Ranbir plays role of Prem, who is a 9th standard drop-out. He along with his friends runs ‘Happy Club’. The main motto of this club is to make people happy and to help lovers in distress.

Katrina plays the role of ‘Jenny’ who is an orphan. Now, parents who have adopted her are forcing her to marry a guy for sake of money. Jenny and Prem have a common trait both stammer when they are emotionally wrought. Soon they become friends.

Prem is not able to express his love to Jenny who is in love with Rahul. Soon, Prem is forced to help his lady love to meet her love. There are some comic moments in the film.  

Only good point about movie is its ‘musi’c. The movie could have been a blockbuster if little more work would have been done on the script.
