Apple releases second beta of Mac OS X 10.6.8 for developers

AppleTechnology giant, Apple has released the second beta version of its Mac OS X 10.6.8 for developers.

The Combo Update and the Delta Update for Mac OS X 10.6.8 build 10K524 are a 1GB download. The Airport, Graphics Drivers, Mac App Store, Networking, QuickTime and VPN were the focus area for the build, according to people familiar with the matter.

The last update to Snow Leopard came in March in the form of Mac OS X 10.6.7. The update had offered display fixes for Apple's early 2011 Thunderbolt MacBook Pros.

The company is expected to release a major upgrade to Mac OS X in the summer with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. Apple will unveil future version at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference from June 6 through June 10 in San Francisco.

The new version will bring popular iOS features to the Mac models.
