Apple's iPad Mini expected to outsell Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7

Apple's iPad Mini expected to outsell Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7With Apple having finally unveiled its much-rumored smaller tablet - the iPad Mini - at a last-week press event, the holiday shopping season this year will have three different `mini' tablets on offer --- the 7-inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD; the 7-inch Google Nexus 7; and, of course, the 7.9-inch Apple iPad Mini.

Despite the fact that, with a price-tag of $329 for the base model, the iPad Mini is comparatively more expensive than the `$200 range' Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7, early projections about the sales of these three tablets reveal that iPad Mini will outsell the two competing devices.

Actually, it is being predicted that the sales of the iPad Mini will probably be higher than the combined sales of the Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7, for the simple reason that the Apple tablet will have a much wider availability across the world.

The iPad Mini - the sales of which will commence from November 2 - will be available from the Apple Online Store, as well as Apple's retail stores and selected Apple Authorized Resellers in 34 countries, including the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Singapore, and Switzerland, among others.

In comparison, the Google Nexus 7 is currently being sold in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Spain; while the Kindle Fire HD will be available in the US and five European countries - the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
