Karachi, Feb. 2: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Finance Secretary Babar Awan said on Friday that PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari could be one of the party’s candidates for prime minister.

“Definitely he is one of the candidates because he is the co-chairman of our party,” Awan told the Daily Times after addressing a seminar here.

Zardari had earlier made it clear that he would not be a candidate for the prime minister office. (ANI)
