Bangalore advances into second roundThe Royal Challengers Bangalore team has made into the second round of the cash rich T20 Champions League as they crushed Otago by 80 runs in the third match of the Group C at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Monday.

The man of the match Jacques Kallis showed brilliant all-around performance to lead their team to victory in a must-win match. Kallis smashed unbeaten 73 runs in 59 balls apart from taking three crucial wickets.

Bangalore scored 188 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in 20 overs. Robin Uthappa (42) and Kallis scored 75 runs for the first wicket. Virat Kohli (32) and L Taylor (32) gave momentum to their inning in last overs.

Otago batsmen struggled against the Bangalore bowling attack as they bundled out for just 108 runs on the board in 17.5 overs. C Cunning was top scorer for Otago who scored 20 runs.

Vinay Kumar and Bangalore skipper Anil Kumble took two wickets each while R Merwe and B Akhil chipped in with one wicket each.
