Bentley Muslanne ready for its Indian journey
The luxury carmaker Bentley today launched their flagship model Muslanne in the Indian market. The company will start its production in its UK plant towards the second half of the year with a target figure of 600 units to be produced.
However, the number of units of the 600 to Indian venture hasn't been finalized yet but the number is expected to be substantial.
In fact, keeping mind that the India contributes 2% of the total sales of Bentley globally and is the second largest market after China in the Asian continent, the growth is expected to be steady for a long time. "India is expected to contribute steadily for many years to come. Though, there is not be a boom in the unit sales as we see in China but there is enough scope for growth in the Indian market," explained Chris Buxton, Bentley Regional Director, India.
Buxton further added that the car will available at a price tag of Rs. 2.9 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) in the Indian market, though the price will vary keeping in mind the customized options that the company offers.
