New York, June 5 : It actually pays to be Bernie Madoff - ask Paul Cohen.
Jersey City resident Cohen read about a casting call for filmmaker Edmund Druilhet''s docudrama, "Madoff: Made Off With America" - and guess what - he got the spot, reports The New York Post.
The Forward reported yesterday that the role is the first for the 64-year-old.
Druilhet told the paper, "[Cohen] had the best lips. I have to say he stood out."
Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff, an American former businessman and former non-executive chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange, was convicted of operating a Ponzi scheme that has been called the largest investor fraud ever committed by a single person.
On March 12, 2009, Madoff pled guilty to an 11-count criminal complaint, admitting to defrauding thousands of investors. (ANI)
