The famed US retailer, Best Buy has scored a lengthy sales record at its first opening in UK. The all new Thurrock based store has witnessed a sale which has taken the US retail giant in surprise, as it clocked the highest sales figures for the company.

This store freshly joins the league of 1,150 Best Buy stores around the world that includes the outlets present in Mexico, Turkey and China.

The sources reveal that it is a 50,000 square-foot Thurrock store that opened for sale on 30 April. It has partnered with UK retailer Carphone Warehouse, to increase the list to significant levels.

The officials at the Best Buy state that they are ready to launch eight more outlets in the coming March all over the country.

CEO of Best Buy Branded Operations, Paul Antoniadis in the context of the opening said, “Everyone on the Best Buy team is thrilled with the start of this new chapter in Best Buy's story.” He further stated that the list will soar up in other European countries seeking the partnership with Carphone Warehouse.
