Indian state-run engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd (BHEL) has secured an order worth Rs 4015 crore from Hindalco.

The order is for the supply of power generation equipment for Hindalco's upcoming captive power plant (6x150MW) at Sambalpur district of Orissa.

Earlier this month, Public-Sector owned BHEL has bagged an order worth Rs 375-crore from Oman for supplying as well as erection of two gas turbine generating units of 126 mw each.

At 2:35 pm, the shares of BHEL were trading at Rs 2220, down 2% compared to previous close of Rs 2271.
