BHEL, the country's premier engineering organization, has bagged Rs 375-crore order for executing two gas turbine generating units for a project in Oman.

The company has won the latest export order for two gas turbine generating units of 126 MW each from Oman.

The scope of the order includes supply, erection and commissioning of two gas turbine generating units of 126 MW each for a power project being set up by Petroleum Development Oman at Amal.

The company stated in a communiqué that it would manufacture and supply the gas turbines as well as associated equipment from its Hyderabad plant, while the Control System would be manufactured and supplied by its Electronics Division, Bangalore.

The scrip of the company closed today at Rs 2131, up 1% compared to previous close of Rs 2117.
