London, Nov 24 : India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark knowles of the Bahamas overcame a tough challenge from the Polish pair of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski to win 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 in a Group A doubles match of ATP WOrld Tour Finals here Tuesday.
Bhupathi and Knowles, seeded third, fought back after losing the first set to win in an hour and 15 minutes.
Bhupathi and Knowles had beaten the Czech-Slovak combination of Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak in their first match Monday.
India's Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy of Czech Republic, placed in Group B, had lost their opening round match to Poland's Lukas Kubot and Oliver Marach of Austria 3-6, 6-7 (3).(IANS)
