Bullet 580 successfully inflated by E-GreenIt has been reported that E-Green Technologies-21st Century Airships marked a milestone for its high-altitude airship program following a successful inflation test in Alabama.

According to reports, E-Green Technologies-21st Century Airships, based in Alabama, announced its 235-foot long, 65-foot diameter homeland security airship called the Bullet 580 has completed its inflation test.

The Bullet 580 is designed to provide homeland security, military and other government authorities with communications, missile defense warning and surveillance and intelligence among other monitoring capabilities.

The Bullet 580 is also designed to support civilian applications and is the "first of the company's airships in production for commercial use," E-Green Technologies-21st Century Airships officials have said

It was also reported that E-Green Technologies-21st Century Airships says its Bullet 580 can carry payloads up to 2,000 pounds and is made of a new Kevlar material for high altitude operations. (With Inputs from Agencies)
