Canadian firm launches most expensive SUV in IndiaCanadian automaker, Conquest Vehicles has announced the launch of its Evade Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the Indian market.

The super luxury SUV Evade is the most expensive SUV available in the country with a price tag of a whooping Rs 8.5 crore. Evade is powered by a 6.8-litre engine that churns 400 Bhp of power at 2215 Nm of torque. The vehicle can sit six people comfortably in the cabin space of 400 cubic feet.

The second and the third row of the car are facing each other and it allows passengers to sit face to face much like in limousine cars. The Toronto-based company, which is the manufacturer of armoured Knight XV, is also offering retractable flat screen television, three sun roofs, joystick-controlled roof-mounted searchlights and also a night-vision camera.

The company will launch both diesel and petrol version of the car and it is expected to be available within this year. The steering wheel, proprietary hinges, running boards and even the key are built of stainless steel and handles are machined out of a solid block of aluminum.
