Result for the Common Admission Test (CAT) is expected to be announced within next 7-10 days. CAT score is accepted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) as well as other top management institutes in India. Indian Institute of Management is a group of seven institutes across the country.

IIM will disclose the CAT results within next 10 days. However, the exact date has not yet decided. This year CAT was organized by a US-based consultancy firm-Prometric.

CAT results are delayed by almost one month this year as the results were supposed to be announced on January 22, 2010. The result got delayed this year because of some technical problem in the computer based test. The test was divided into two phases.

First phase was completed on December 8, 2009. As because of problem in the computer based test, more than 4,000 students were not able to take the test. Second phase was completed on January 31, 2010. Many candidates feel that the results may also have some problems.
