Changes to Crime act with regard to child abuse in NSW

Changes to Crime act with regard to child abuse in NSWLaw has defined a line of separation between work of art and child pornography in New South Wales. State Parliament has approved the alteration done in crime act to change the definition of offensive objects related to child pornography to child abuse.

Attorney-General John Hatzistergos says that if court verified that something is related to child abuse then it cannot be argued as a work of art.

Government has become alert and conscious when the issue related to child pornography comes in to the news because no longer this act will be treated as a work of art, government will impose severe action against the person found involved in such activities.

The changes done in the act have been coordinated by New South Wales and Commonwealth laws, so that police can take action against people who sent images through net also.
