Changi Airport Group Signs MoU With Chongqing Airport Group

Changi Airport Changi Airport Group (CAG) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), setting up a joint airports deal with Chongqing Airport Group.

The MOU pave the way for both parties to explore collaborations between the airports through joint projects and staff exchanges, on areas such as terminal management, route growth and commercial management.

Mr. Wong Woon Liong, Senior Director of CAG's Changi Airport Advisory Group and Mr. Zhao Jiang Ping, General Manager, Chongqing Airport Group signed the MOU in Chongqing, China.

At the same time, following its first commercial consultancy, Changi Airports International
(CAI), CAG's dedicated arm for foreign ventures, has sealed two extra consultancy projects with Chongqing Airport Group for Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

In proportion to the region's economic development, traffic at Chongqing Airport has arisen speedily in recent years.

The two projects cover up an appraisal of Chongqing Airport's passenger transfer processes and projected improvements to its retail environment.

That project witnessed CAI raising the airport's commercial space by 30 percent, thereby meliorating the earning prospective of Chongqing Airport.

With the newest projects, CAI anticipates to lift up service standards at Chongqing Airport and optimize its commercial income as well as competence in proportion to the airport's growth potential.
