Chicago Board of Trade saw Grain futures close lowerAs equities on Wall Street fell short of breaking even on the day, Grain futures closed lower on the Chicago Board of Trade on Thursday.

Corn was off 3 to off 3 1/4; soybeans were off 12 to off 14, wheat was off 10 to off 10 1/2 and oats were off 1 to off 2 1/4.

As raised corn yield was forecasted by Buenos Aires Grains Exchange for the year from 19.3 million metric tons to 20.2 million, Corn futures dropped. Despite a slight fall in the dollar index, wheat prices fell, which dropped 0.14 percent. Soybeans prices fell although the Grains Exchange in Argentina left its yield estimate unchanged for soybeans at 52 million metric tons. (With Input from Agencies)
