Chrome frame for IE: Google
Google announced the beta version of its Chrome Frame open source plug-in for Internet Explorer bringing rejoice to all the dedicated IE users.
According to the sources, Google was forced to develop the Chrome Frame plug-in as it wanted an assurance of the fine working of Google Wave on the browser.
The search giant reports that Chrome Frame has more than 200 bug fixes that take care of the increasing Internet Explorer's performance and will enhanc its security.
Following severe criticisms from security experts and competitors for compromising the security the earlier version of Chrome Frame was pulled back.
CEO of Mozilla Co., Mitchell Baker, stated: "If you end up at a website that makes use of the Chrome Frame, the treatment of your passwords, security settings, personalisation all the other things one sets in a browser is suddenly unknown”.
However Google states that Google's Chrome Frame is running sound in many websites, including Orkut, WordPress, Meebo and YouTube.
