New Delhi [India], Feb 22 : OnePlus, a global mobile technology startup, last night hosted the first edition of OnePlus Talks - a platform for sharing knowledge with the ever growing OnePlus community through sessions with experts across industries.

The first-ever OnePlus Talks saw Nami Zarringhalam, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Truecaller, deliver an interesting talk on 'Technology and Entrepreneurship' followed by an interactive session where Zarringhalam responded to the interesting queries asked by the community members.

The OnePlus experience store is a hub for community members experience the product offerings as well as collaborate, share and learn together.

OnePlus to resume sales in India in wake of court order

OnePlusWashington, Dec 25 - Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is set to resume sales in India after a court in New Delhi upheld a complaint filed by rival company Micromax.

After Micromax nabbed an exclusive deal with Cyanogen in India for Yu, its new Android range, it objected to the sale of OnePlus smartphones that also make use of the Cyanogen Android operating system for powering its phones in all countries except China.

According to Tech Crunch, the New Delhi court plans to hear the case again on January 7 and has ordered OnePlus and Cyanogen to file written statements and documents before then, according to The Economic Times

The company confirmed that it will stop selling its One smartphone in the country after a New Delhi court upheld a complaint by rival Micromax, reported Tech Crunch.

New Delhi - Bullish on the multi-billion dollar opportunity in the Indian smartphone segment, Chinese handset maker OnePlus on Tuesday said it expects India to become its biggest market in the next few months.

At present, China is the biggest market for OnePlus, which announced its foray into India Tuesday with the launch of its 'One' smartphone at Rs 21,999.

"In the next few months, we expect India to be our biggest market, it will overtake China," OnePlus India General Manager Vikas Agarwal said.
