A shot of medicine will soon be a miracle for the ladies as they don't have to bear the burden for family planning. According to the current findings, researchers of Edinburg University have discovered a shot which can be given to men which will act as a contraceptive in a manner similar to the birth-control pill of women, but without any accompanying side effects.

According to 'The Daily Mail' which informs that 80 couples are taking part in the trial of the drug, which stimulates the brain to shut down the sperm production. The jab's dose shall be twice a month.

What lies in the shot of medicine is- male sex hormone testosterone and synthetic female sex hormone -progesterone. The brain senses them and stops the synthesis of other hormones that are in charge of sperm production. According to the researchers the experiments showed positive results and it is also believed that once the person stops taking the shots the sperm production becomes normal. Hoping that if, everything remains normal; women shall have a reason to cheer.
