The curfew has been imposed between 9:00 a. m. and 4:00 p. m.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will visit the city to take stock of the situation.

Patil said he was in constant touch with Home Ministry officials in Delhi to get the latest update on the situation. He was also in touch with Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and had assured her of all help from the Centre.

On Wednesday, Rajasthan Police released a sketch of a suspected terrorist on the basis of details provided by a shopkeeper at Kishenpole Bazaar who sold him a cycle, which was used in planting a bomb in the crowded area.
