Dhobi Ghat: Movie Review!Debutante director Kiran Rao's "Dhobi Ghat", which released today, is a personal homage to Mumbai, her dream city.

Dhobi Ghat brilliantly shows all the aspects of Mumbai that has thus far stayed untold.

The busy traffic, the lively street life, the quick life of people, and the grave and driving rains plays an important role in the flick.

The film's title has been inspired from a well-known place in Mumbai known as Dhobi Ghat.

The flick features Aamir Khan together with three newbies including Monica Dogra, Kriti Malhotra and Prateik Babbar.

The film's tale centers around four people (Aamir, Prateik, Monica and Kriti) belonging to four different backdrops and who are estranged by luck.

Mr. Perfectionist dons the character of a solitary artist, Prateik is a washer boy, Monica dons the character of an Indian-American banker, whereas Kriti plays the role of married Yasmin.

Kiran focuses the life of each person with the help of an amateur video and few black and white pics that has a tough of loss, love, aloneness and desire.

Much before the film release, it has garnered critical acclaim at the London Film Festival 2010 and the Toronto Film Festival 2010.

The film duration is around one and a half hour without interval.

Musician Gustavo Santaolalla composed the background score of the film.

Director Kiran Rao conveys the courage of a rebel film producer.
