Dropbox to set up frat overseas office n DublinUS based, Dropbox is planning to set up its first operations centre outside the United Sates, in the Irish capital, Dublin.

Dropbox will set up an international operations centre in the city that will create about 40 jobs and expand the company's presence in Europe. The company will hire people for various positions at the centre including that in multi-lingual sales teams, account management and user operations staff in order to provide seamless support to the company's users in European region.

The centre will prvide technical assistance to the company's more than 100 million service users, out of which about a third reside in Europe. Dropbox is a free internet based service that allows users to access documents, photos and videos from anywhere in the world through different devices and share them easily with others. The service is already available in eight widely used languages.

Drew Houston, Dropbox chief executive officer and co-founder said, "We're delighted to be closer to tens of millions of our European customers. By opening our international headquarters in Dublin and tapping into the large talent pool that exists there, we're better positioned to serve even more people locally while we continue to grow."
