Drug sting nets three Chinese men, Filipino in Manila
Manila - Three Chinese men and a Filipino were arrested Friday in a drug bust in the Philippine capital, a police report said.
The suspects were arrested after they sold more than 2 kilograms of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, to an undercover narcotics agent in the Manila suburban city of Quezon, the report said.
The suspects attempted to escape in two cars but were blocked off by police patrol cars in a nearby street.
Narcotics agents recovered more than 20 kilograms of shabu with a street value of at least 100 million pesos (2.10 million dollars) in one of the suspects' vehicles.(dpa)
