First display order shipped by Z MicrosystemsIt has successfully shipped its first order of ground station display technologies in support of an unmanned aircraft program, California's Z Microsystems has said.

It has been reported that Z Microsystems' display panels offer military and homeland security authorities operating an unmanned aircraft system ground station, a display technology capable of feeding the surveillance and intelligence data collected by the UAS in real time and full-motion video to the ground station.

Jack Wade, Z Microsystems chief executive officer, said in a statement, "Our ground control displays are built to help the military and aerospace UAS community focus on seeing better and seeing more through the application of real time image processing."

Z Microsystems was selected to deliver it display panels by an undisclosed UAS manufacturer. Wednesday Z Microsystems announced it successfully completed its first shipment on the subcontract supporting the UAS program.

Wade further said, "This contract validates that our technology is meeting the need for higher fidelity visualization in UAS surveillance." (With Inputs from Agencies)
