Flight attendant sues Oprah over mile-high sex allegation

Flight attendant sues Oprah over mile-high sex allegationsLos Angeles  - A former flight attendant on Oprah Winfrey's private jet is suing the talk show queen after she was fired following allegations that she had sex with the chief pilot.

Corrine Gehrls claims the dismissal came following false allegations by her fellow flight attendant Myron Gooch and Oprah's god daughter, Kirby Bumpus.

The suit alleges that Gooch had been causing trouble at work for months, but that Winfrey and her production company Harpo ignored his behavior and that he devised a plan to get rid of Gehrls and the pilot, enlisting Bumpus in the scheme.

Gehrls strongly denied the sex allegations and is seeking 75,000 dollars in damages, claiming that she was fired even though she passed a polygraph test. (dpa)
