The investigation on flu vaccine is going on in Western Australia till now. But there has not been any indication of abnormality. The results of previous tests have also suggested that these are free from any shot of abnormalities.

Australian chief medical officer Jim Bishop has said that the possibility of spike at the time of convulsions and fever for the children in WA may be due to the greater number of vaccinations held there. He has also informed that tests performed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration were in vain. The proper cause of the disease could not be found out.

Apart from those; he has accepted in front of media that there is no strong evidence to prove the abnormality with the vaccine. He has made it very clear that around three million doses of the seasonal flu vaccine have wasted this year and only two-thirds sent to WA.

WA provides the seasonal flu vaccine to children below five years by free of cost. But the other countries have not stated providing that.
