It’s now Ford India gearing up to launch its small car! The reports are around that Ford India, looking to cash the flourishing small car market of India, is preparing to roll out its small car by early 2010.  

The reports are saying that Ford India is currently essaying around 300 prototypes of the small car on the road. The small car has 85 percent localized parts. The car is specifically designed for the Indian customers, Indian roads, and Indian markets.

According to the reports, the new small car is expected to the sibling of its European and Australian counterparts. The car is expected to be rolled out in petrol and diesel variants – could be powered with 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine respectively.
