Former White House spokesman Tony Snow dies
Washington- Former US government spokesman Tony Snow has died at the age of 53 from colon cancer, US media reported Saturday.
According to the US television broadcaster MSNBC, Snow suffered from the disease since 2005.
He was White House press secretary for President George W Bush from May 2006 to September 2007, when he resigned for financial reasons.
Snow had been a journalist for right-wing US media and speechwriter for former president George HW Bush, father of the current US president. (dpa)
