Gajjar Outclasses Top Seed To Storm Into FinalRohan Gajjar, the finalist of ITF tournament last week, has outplayed the top seeded Kento Takeuchi of Japan to set up clash with Vishnu Vardhan in the grand finale in the men’s single event of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament with prize money of $15,000.
 
Gajjar has defeated Kento in a three setter match by 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(5) in the semifinal match at the DLTA complex on Friday.

Gajjar, the 25- year old Maharashtra boy, was looking in great touch as he outclassed Kento for second successive time as earlier also he defeated Kento in the quarterfinal last week.

Vishnu, the second seeded in the tournament, has defeated the fifth-seeded Divij Sharan, who had upset the last week's winner Yuki Bhambri in the quarter-final match, in a rain interrupted match by 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the semi-final match to advance into the final of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Indian pair of Divij Sharan and Vishnu Vardhan has won the title of men’s double event after defeating another Indian pair of Vivek Shokeen and Ashutosh Singh in straight sets by 6-3, 6-4 in the final match on Friday.
