Luhrmann''s initial cut ended with Hugh Jackman''s character, The Drover, dying in the final scenes but after disastrous reviews from test screenings, Twentieth Century Fox executives decided the film''s final moments should be more uplifting.

London, Nov 9 : Robbie Williams certainly knows how to spend quality time with a girl, for the singer was spotted having fun with his lady love Ayda Field at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The LA-based singer, who’s recording a new album, brought his girlfriend to meet his parents and then the couple went for a water ride. 

“He showed Ayda around Pleasure Beach, which was one of his favourite haunts as a kid,” News of the World quoted a friend, as saying.

“Robbie seemed so happy, even when he got soaked on the water ride. It’s like the old Robbie is back,” the friend added.

The 40-year-old Brit, whose latest ‘Quantum of Solace’ broke box office records to take 4.9 million pounds in ticket sales on its opening day replacing former title holder ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, said his second appearance as the 007 agent was much ‘harder’.

“I don''t feel it was easier on this one - it felt harder,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

The 44-year-old singer says that no marriage - no tax dollars – because she is not being treated as a "full citizen", reports the Daily Telegraph.
