Elizabeth HasselbeckWashington, Nov 6 : American co-host on the talk show ‘The View’ Elizabeth Hasselbeck stunned viewers when she began supporting president-elect Barack Obama.

Hasselbeck, who had campaigned with John McCain''s running mate Sarah Palin, was asked on the show by executive producer Barbara Walters how she felt about McCain/Palin losing the elections.

The former reality show contestant replied that her daughter Grace, 3, had asked her who won and who lost the election.

“No one lost,” Fox News quoted Hasselbeck as telling about what was her reply to her child’s question.

"It always is a stressful situation. You are always trying - without trying too hard - to be likeable,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She added: “Y''know mothers and sons and fathers and daughters - those are very protective bonds. So anyone going into that has a tricky situation."

The star lunged at a photographer outside her house in Camden, North London, reports the Sun.

Witnesses say the singer was not being harassed or bullied by waiting paps before the incident.

This is not the first time that the ‘Back To Black’ hitmaker indulged in an uncalled for attack, as she had earlier hit a fan at a concert and even dancer Sherene Flash claimed to have been a victim to her attack.

Sylvester Stallone to star in and helm ‘The Expendables’

The 62-year-old legend, who has written the script, will team up with Jason Statham and Jet Li, who is in final negotiations, as a group of mercenaries in the movie for Nu Image/Millennium Films.

The story depicts the team on a mission to break into a South American country and overthrow its brutal dictator to set free the population, reports Variety.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour may soon get her own show

"She's getting her own hour. She was furious after CNN gave (Newsweek correspondent) Fareed Zakaria his own show on Sunday - especially since it''s all about international affairs which is her specialty," the New York Post quoted an insider as saying.

The source further revealed that bosses at CNN eventually bowed to Amanpour's wrath, and that they are now ready to announce her program.
