Gloster advices Indian players to skip IPL-3

Gloster advices Indian players to skip IPL-3 The former Indian physio, John Gloster has advised Indian players to skip the next edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) in order to avoid mental fatigue ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup which is scheduled to begin in April next year.

Gloster said the Indian players should not participate in the next edition of IPL as it involves a lot of traveling and stress on the players and they have to play in ICC T20 World Cup which will be shortly followed by the IPL.

It should be noted that India was unable to defend their T20 championship title in the ICC T20 World Cup which has concluded earlier this month and all players of Indian team played in the IPL-2 in South Africa.

Gloster said that the Indian players who played in the IPL-2 were mentally tired and they were not able to handle the huge pressure of the ICC World T20.

Earlier, Indian coach Gary Kirsten also blamed IPL for the failure of Indian team in the ICC T20 World Cup last month as Indian team was unable to make in to the semifinals.
