Good Script Decides My Involvement In A Film, Says Aamir KhanFor Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan, a good screenplay decides his participation in a film project as an actor or maker.

Presently, the actor is promoting his latest production-'Peepli Live'- whose screenplay by first time director, Anusha Rizvi, he read three-four years back.

Mr. Perfectionist said, ''I only act or produce in scripts that my heart goes out for, and don't look into the production value. Taking - ''Rang de Basanti'' as case- four films on Bhagat Singh had already been made, but we still went ahead. The actor has not signed any offers including one from Danny Boyle, and is focusing on promoting his latest film- ''Peepli Live'' produced by him. The film is a satirical take on the issue of farmers' suicide in rural India.

''The selling point of Peepli Live are strong script by director Anusha Rizvi and co-director Mehmood, and an excellent cast from Nabeeb Sahab's theatre company. It's their first time in front of a camera, but their performance is better than any of mine, and I have been in the industry for 20 years,'' Khan added.

Aamir is not only happy with the aesthetic and production of the movie, which is set for August 23 release, but is also sensitively touched by the subject.

''The film has sensitized me about the plight of our countrymen in rural India. When you read or watch something that connects with you emotionally, it sensitizes you. The film is neither negative nor judgmental. It shows how all of us are- as human beings'' he said. (With Inputs from Agencies)
